Product Description:
Turn the M20 2.5 liter 325i motor into a 3.0 liter for performance similar an E36 M3. The additional torque allows the engine to pull strongly below 3000 rpm. Kit includes crank shaft, light weight forged pistons, piston rings, high strength wrist pins, and main bearings. You use your factory 135mm long "i" rods, cylinder head, and fuel injection. Pistons are 1mm oversize (85mm) to allow the block to be bored. Larger injectors must be used.
We recommend a performance cam, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and larger air flow meter or MAF kit for best performance. Upgrades such as free flow air filter, larger throttle body, Extrude Honed intake mainifold, larger exhaust valves, headers and free flow exhaust system will further improve performance.
